Day-by-day itineraries

Build a trip one day at a time — activities, meals, where you are sleeping, and what still needs booking.

Times that mean what you meant

Everything is read in the timezone of the trip, not the one you happen to be planning from. A dinner at 19:00 abroad stays at 19:00 wherever you book it.

Plan around the gaps

Meals you have not sorted yet show up as gaps rather than silence, so the things you forgot are visible before you leave.

Shared trips

Invite the people you are travelling with. Owners, editors and viewers see the same plan, with private notes that stay yours. An owner can hand the trip on to anybody already on it and stay on as an editor.

An account is for people 18 and over. Someone younger, such as a teenager on a family trip, takes part through the trip's share link, which needs no account: they see what the owner shares, and can vote in polls or tick things off where the owner allows it.

When you sign up, you say which country you live in, and your province or territory in Canada; you can change it in your account settings. If you live in Quebec, you will be shown the terms in French first, with English a click away, once the French version is published.

Bookings read from your mail

Every account has a Mailbox with its own address. Forward a booking confirmation to it, or give the address when you buy a ticket, and Farheimr reads the flight, hotel, car rental or activity into the right trip, in the languages our masking reads. A confirmation in another language or alphabet waits unread until you choose "Read with AI anyway" or add the booking yourself. When it is not sure, or when a mail would change a booking you already have, it asks first on your Needs-you list. The Mailbox page shows what became of each message and the trip it went to. A trip can have a mailbox of its own, shared with the group.

Bookings made before the trip exists wait as unfiled bookings and join it once it does; a few that make one journey are offered as a trip starter, ready to create in one tap. Tickets, receipts and confirmations are saved into the trip's documents, privately when they came from your own Mailbox.

The Mailbox is a convenience, not an email account: it only receives, never sends or forwards, and keeps mail only for a short while.

It comes with you

Export a printable itinerary, subscribe to the trip as a calendar, or take the whole thing away as a file you own.

In your language

Farheimr is available in every official EU language and in Canadian French. Some of our pages and texts in languages other than English may have been prepared with the help of automated translation.

Your account, your data

Download everything Farheimr holds about you from your account settings, whenever you like. Deleting your account switches it off at once and erases it for good fourteen days later; signing in before then restores it. Trips you share are handed on to someone on them first, so nobody is left with a trip they cannot run.

Your account settings list every device signed in to your account, with where and when it signed in and when it was last active. Sign out any one of them, or every one but the device in your hand.

Your browser sends us error reports or performance information only if you say it may. Both are off until you turn them on, and you can turn either off again at any time in your account settings.

When you write to us about a problem, our team may ask to see what happens in one tab while you show it. Nothing is recorded unless you allow it, every word and everything you type is replaced with dots, your mailbox is never recorded, and you can stop at any time or turn these requests off in your account settings.

For fourteen days after you accept the terms, you can also withdraw from our agreement from your account settings, without giving a reason; you get a receipt by email.
